Indonesia Mobile 3G – Bigger than a Rock star

Deployment of 3G services in the hugely attractive and  growing markets  shows no signs of  let-up.  Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam – each have no less than six mobile operators; Indonesia the most with eleven. What’s cool about Indonesia, is that 3G will be the technology to eventually deliver  broadband to the rural communities that are not likely to ever been able to receive cable or DSL services.

Why this blog? From a business man’s point of view, we feel that Indonesia is country with huge upside in the ICT sector. From Wimax, to wonderful people (and 4th most populated country in the world, to a thriving consumer electronics, Indonesia offers compelling opportunities.
